Meet Cindy ~
Cindy Orr-Jones is a retired Language Arts & Social Studies teacher, who writes books about her faithful companion dogs, Dillon & Ollie, aimed at young audiences and dog lovers. Her books bring the reader entertainment and insight into the inquisitive nature of dogs, as well as lessons to children about the care and love of pets. Cindy, her husband, John, and their beloved dogs, Dillon & Ollie, reside in Wickenburg, Arizona, where Cindy volunteers at the local humane society helping other dogs find their forever homes.
MEET DILLON
When I was just a pup, I was lost in a
California desert and taken to a local shelter, where I met my forever family.
It was about 12 years ago that Cindy adopted me and it's been an adventure ever since! We currently live in Wickenburg, Arizona, where Cindy tells our stories in this series of books for young audiences and dog lovers. We hope your next pet will be a rescue like me!
MEET OLLIE
I was around 4 years old when my owner
in Phoenix took me to a dog rescue to be adopted because they could no longer keep me. That is when John and Cindy saw my picture in an ad and called to
adopt me. Soon after, I became a member of their family and life-long pal of Dillon’s. When I was adopted by them, I had finally found my forever home. I hope every dog can be as lucky as I am!
